The Management Team of the Dr. Osahon Enabulele Foundation paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Director, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH, Prof. Idia Nibokun Ize-Iyamu. The visit aimed to strengthen collaborative ties with UBTH in advancing quality healthcare service, exploring avenues for collaboration in healthcare delivery, leadership development, and community outreach.
In his address, the Director General, Dr. Osahon Enabulele congratulated the CMD on the recent appointment and assumption of duty as Chief Medical Director and introduced the Foundation’s mission and strategic initiatives/thrusts to include policy advocacy, education, leadership and governance, capacity building and research, health, support for vulnerable groups, and social welfare. Furthermore, the DG outlined the Foundation’s core programs, including Community-based health interventions, Leadership development program, as well as the ongoing secondary school debate competition, which had reached seven (7) LGAs in Edo South Senatorial district.


The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu, expressed appreciation for the visit and welcomed the Foundation’s offer to collaborate on health care service, leadership as well as governance reforms in the health sector. She lauded the doggedness and passion for excellence of the Director General, Dr. Osahon Enabulele and reaffirmed UBTH’s commitment to partnerships that contribute positively to overall health outcomes.
