The Director General, Dr. Osahon Enabulele, was a Guest Speaker at the TEDx University of Benin event with the theme: Standing Out: Beyond the Obvious. TEDxUniversityofBenin is organized by students of the University of Benin to engage and provide solutions to issues pertinent in society and inspire valuable interactions among the university population and the rest of Edo State. Delivering a thought-provoking lecture, Dr. Osahon Enabulele harped on determination, character, passion, vision and a never-give-up attitude as key valuable determinants for Standing Out Recounting his experiences, which characterized his administration as President, World Medical Association, WMA, President, Commonwealth Medical Association, CMA, President, Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, and Chairman, NMA Edo State Chapter, Dr. Enabulele challenged the young audience to reorientate their individual mindset towards the path of value addition, becoming change makers, to make meaningful impact in society Dr. Enabulele’s speech was a clarion call to youths to stand out through the substance, not spectacle—to lead with integrity, serve with purpose, and strive towards inspiring a renewed sense of civic responsibility and personal excellence. He charged the audience, particularly youth and students, to be distinctive- irrespective of class, visionary leaders towards leaving lasting legacies and imprints in society through resilient character, purposeful objectives and result-driven leadership. The Highpoint of the event was the presentation of an Award of Exceptional Leadership in Healthcare to the Director General, Dr. Osahon Enabulele.

In line with its mission to promote education, healthcare, and leadership development, the Dr. Osahon Enabulele Foundation recently paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin. The visit, which took place on April 4, 2025 was led by the foundation’s founder, Dr. Osahon Enabulele, and included members of the Board of Trustees and other executives. Fostering Collaboration and Giving Back During the visit, Dr. Enabulele, an alumnus of the University of Benin, expressed his commitment to giving back to his alma mater and supporting the institution’s growth and development. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the foundation and the university in areas such as capacity building, education, and leadership development. Exploring Opportunities for Partnership The visit provided an opportunity for the foundation and the university to explore potential areas of partnership and collaboration. Dr. Enabulele and his team discussed ways in which the foundation could support the university’s initiatives and programs, particularly in the areas of education and leadership development. A Token of Appreciation As a token of appreciation for the Vice Chancellor’s support, the foundation presented a plaque, card, and conference materials to the university.
